At Nigeria Distilleries Limited (NDL), we believe our spirits should have character; an authenticity derived from where they are distilled, bottled and the philosophies of those who distil them.
There are many attributes that describe us resolute, self-sufficient, tough, hard-working, enduring, emotional, passionate, philosophical and engaging.
We are the largest Manufacturer of Spirits and Wines in Nigeria; NDL was incorporated in 1961 with the mission to offer the best brands to a market thirsty for excellent quality wines and spirits. A wholly Nigerian-owned company, NDL began production in 1979 with the blending and bottling of international brands like Dubonnet, Ambassadeur, Suze, Campari, Cointreau, Dorville Brandy, Pimms, and Martini.
Over the years, with experience and intensive research, we have grown adding to our production and packaging, of a range of AWARD-WINNING brands, that include Seaman’s Aromatic Schnapps, Lords Dry Gin, Regal Dry Gin, Bacchus tonic Wine, St. Lauren Wine (White & Red), Calypso Coconut & Chocolate Liqueur, Apperito, 9ja Café Rhum and Swagga Range.
We passionately believe in Africa – in authenticity, place and provenance, in ultimate quality. We seek to produce the most natural, thought-provoking, intellectually stimulating & enjoyable wines & spirits possible. Obsessive? Probably – but if all you want is generic spirit, the world is awash with these.

Our commitment to keeping most of our process in Ota – Ogun State, is not just about protecting that signature culture of the people. It is also in a commitment to our local community, to providing professional jobs for our locals, and in developing talent.
